Boy Division and Tomorrow's Money

I know these are a day or two late, but these are the new releases from MCR's Conventional Weapons: Boy Division and Tomorrow's Money w/ lyrics...and comments on what I think of the music:

Fell in love with a vampire
You wanna get it for free
Then say hello to the crossfire, baby
You gotta take it from me
I’m gonna take it from you
Say goodbye to the good times
And say hello to the sun
They’re sitting back on an empire
While the world lays back
behind that gun

If we crash this time
They got machines to keep us alive
When the mix tape plays
Choke down the words with no meaning

I stopped believing three years ago
While you keep screaming for revolution
Me and my surgeons and my streetwalking trash
We got no heroes ‘cause our heroes are dead

Yeah!

Say hello to the program
We’re gonna give it for free
We’ve got the things in the antibodies
Got it with the disease
We’re gonna give it to you
Say goodbye to the good times
You’re loading up with the fame
You’re dressing up like a virus
But the words get lost with the radio love machine

If we crash this time
They got machines to keep us alive
When the mix tape plays
Choke down the words with no meaning

I stopped believing three years ago
While you keep screaming for revolution
Me and my surgeons and my streetwalking trends
We got no heroes ‘cause our heroes are dead

Fell in love with a vampire
Tops off? to the empire
Say hello to the brushfire
I think my phone’s got a tap wire

Fell in love with a vampire
Tops off? to the empire
Say hello to the brushfire
I think my phone’s got a tap wire

Yeah, if we crash this time
They got machines to keep us alive
While the army wives
Choke down the war with no meaning
I stopped believing three years ago
While you keep screaming for revolution

Who kills a boy without? the t-shirt you sell
You keep your money and I’ll see you in hell

I'll be honest, when I was listening to this song for the very first time on my cell phone, it almost sounded like 5th Period Massacre by LeATHERMØTH (Frank Iero's second band), but when I heard it played through better speakers, aka my dad's computer, I realized that I was just hearing the counter melody and it didn't resemble a LeATHERMØUTH at all. It honestly reminds me of Riptide by Sick Puppies at parts...but it's a really cool song and I love the lyrics all but when he starts rhyming vampire, empire, brushfire, and tap wire. Especially the tap wire part. It sticks out to me and doesn't sound quite right, but I enjoy the song and I'm really happy that they're releasing the Conventional Weapons songs.

If all my enemies threw a party
Would you light the candles?
Would you drink the wine?
And watch the television?

Watch the animals
And all the tragedies
And sell your arteries
And buy my casket?

GO!

Well, it better be black
And it better be tight
And it better be just my size

I’m stalking these metro malls
And airport halls
And all these schoolgirls

I’m not asking
You’re not telling
He’s not dead he only looks that way

I’m nowhere
Take me out there
Far away and save me from my self-destruction
Hopeless for you
Sing a song for California

I bought my enemies rope to hang me
And the knives to get me
You can watch ‘em stab me on your television

Stomp the halls because
I bash the walls and
Have a lot to say about
The lives you’re burning down!

It better be white
It better be cut
It better be just my size
And tell ‘em my capillaries burst of boredom, I’ll be waiting

I’m not laughing
You’re not joking
I’m not dead I only dress away that way

I’m nowhere
Take me out there
Far away and save me from my self-destruction
Hopeless for you
Sing a song for California

Wherever you are
Whatever you are
Whoever you are
Wherever you are

LALALALA

‘Cause we got the bomb, we got the bomb (LET’S GO!)
We got the bomb, we got the bomb (LET’S GO!)
We got the bomb, we got the bomb (LET’S GO!)
We got the bomb, we got the bomb (LET’S GO!)

Way out nowhere
Take me out there
Far away and save me from my self-destruction
Hopeless for you
Say a prayer for California

WE GOT THE BOMB!
WE GOT THE BOMB!
WE GOT THE BOMB!
WE GOT THE BOMB!

Of the two songs released, this one is my personal favorite. And everytime it starts I SWEAR it's Die for Your Government by Anti-Flag and I'm like "Do I have the right song?" and I'm 90% sure that this song is the reason they wrote 'We Don't Need Another Song About California' which, again, is my only problem with this songs - that they specify California, but it fits well and I like how it's heavier than a lot of their songs, but you can also hear Danger Days in it. It's just amazing.
